What fabrics can you print on?

We can print on virtually any kind of fabric. Each fabric requires a specific process. Visit our "Fabrics" page to see a detailed view of our stock fabric styles.

Do you offer wholesale pricing or bulk order discounts?

Yes, we offer competitive wholesale pricing and volume-based discounts for qualified partners. If you're sourcing for retail, hospitality, or design projects, reach out to our team to discuss.

Can you print on Lycra?

We can definitely print on Lycra! We have printers that are specially designed for substrates like Lycra. This allows us to print with great results at a great price as well.

Do I need to supply the fabric?

We have certain clients who prefer to supply fabric. However, we do offer a large variety of substrates! If you do supply the fabric, we do ask that it be prepared for printing a.k.a "PFP".

What is the turnaround time I can expect?

Depending on our print schedule and the size of your run, you can expect a 3-4 week delivery. However, we have been known to deliver in much less time!

What are your minimum runs?

The minimum on our stock fabrics is 3 yards while the minimum on a customer supplied fabric is 50 yards.

Will the fabric be finished? What if it gets wet?

Yes. All printed fabrics printed at Advanced Digital Textiles are finished goods!

I need a DuPont™ Teflon® fabric protector finish; do you provide this or do I need to send it somewhere else?

Advanced Digital Textiles is fully capable of applying post treatment to fabrics. These include flame retardants, DuPont™ Teflon® fabric protector, scotch guard, etc.

What type of files do I need to provide?

TIF files are the most universal. Please realize that color separated are the best way to a close color match. If your artwork has not been separated, ADT can provide this service as well. Please visit the "Preparing your Art" page for details.

What about colors? What kind of standard do you require?

The best standard is something on the same substrate as the one being printed, but pantone chips or even printed color chips will suffice. Also, remember to see our guide on using the Color Atlas for your specific fabric!

I need my goods to be pre-treated; will you do that?

Yes, Advanced Digital Textiles offers this service in the form of a continuous program. Please call for details..

My pattern is not in repeat and I need to print continuous yardage; can ADT put my artwork in repeat?

Yes! Advanced Digital Textiles' team has been doing that for over 50 years!

What is Heat Transfer?

Heat Transfer is a process using dye sublimation. We simply print a mirror image of your pattern or art to a special paper. The paper is then put through a heat press along with your specified polyester, where the ink is transferred and permanently fixed to your fabric.

My pattern has a very large repeat; can it be printed?

Yes. There is no limit to the size of the repeat, especially if all production will be digital. However, please keep in mind that if the pattern will go to rotary engraving in the future for longer runs.

Is there a limit to the amount of colors?

Nope, not in digital!

The art that I am printing is digital photography; can this be put on fabric?

Yes. Our printers are fully capable of printing photo realistic images to fabric.

What is the best way to get my files to you?

For your convienence, we have set up an Dropbox Link to which you can upload your files. This is all password protected for your privacy and ours.

I am trying to print on a Poly Cotton blend. What process is best for it?

We are now proud to offer 130" wide printing to select Cottons and Polyesters.

What are the Pros and Cons of Fibre Reactive?

Pros: Stronger Colors. Softer Hand. Good Crock and Wash Fastness.

Cons: Not intended for Outdoor Use.

What are the Pros and Cons of Pigment?

Pros: Excellent Light and Chlorine Fastness. Not limited to just cellulosic substrates.

Cons: Non Satisfactory Wash Fastness and a more limited color space compared to Fiber Reactive.

Do you offer printing on wallpaper or non-textile materials?

Yes, we offer digitally printed wallpaper and can discuss other material applications depending on the use case. Custom wallcoverings such as papers and grasscloths are available.

Does ADT offer Cut/Sew Services?

Yes, we do! In addition to our custom fabric printing, Advanced Digital Textiles offers professional cut and sew services. We specialize in producing finished products like throw pillows, curtain panels, tabletop items, and more. Whether you need small-batch production or larger-scale fulfillment, our in-house sewing team ensures high-quality craftsmanship and consistent results.

Do you provide private label or branding services for finished goods?

Yes, we support private label manufacturing. We can apply custom labels, tags, packaging, and barcode stickers as part of your fulfillment process.

Can you accommodate custom sizing or special requests for sewn products?

We specialize in made-to-order production, including non-standard sizing, custom construction, and limited-run items. We’re happy to work with you on technical specs to bring your vision to life.

Do you drop ship orders directly to customers?

Yes. We offer blind drop shipping with branded packing slips and custom packaging. Whether you're fulfilling e-commerce orders or sending directly to retail partners, we’ve got you covered.
